About Me

Hello, my name is Cassie Ellis. For the past 17 years, I have been creating innovative learning experiences that put the learner front and center. When it comes to the learning experience, it’s always been about the “why” and the “how” for me. As a learner, I’ve always been the one asking questions and engaging best through interactive, meaningful experiences. As a Senior Instructional Designer, my passion is connecting the “why” and “how” with relevant, real-world applications to help learners meet targeted goals.

My career began as an educator and naturally evolved into training, leadership, and instructional design. Over the years, I’ve designed, developed, and delivered everything from instructor-led training to eLearning and microlearning solutions—collaborating closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and faculty to ensure each learning experience is engaging, accessible, and effective. Now at Austin Peay State University, I partner with faculty and teams across the institution to create scalable, high-impact courses and training programs that align with institutional goals and deliver measurable results.
